The Brown Family....

I got the opportunity to photograph this cute little family on Saturday. I took these pictures at Wheeler Farm, and although there were no leaves on the trees we did get some great shots!

Best of 2009....(just a little late)

I started taking pictures in July of 2009. My sister's bridals, engagements and wedding were some of my first shoots.

My other sister Kim, was gracious to let me take a try out a maternity shoot with her as my guinea pig. I thought they turned out great. These two are my favorites.

Babies and children are my absolute FAVORITE to photograph. They are so unpredictable and are so darn cute!

This little lady is Jerzey and she was SO FUN! I could not get a bad picture of this baby. She is just too darn CUTE!

Here are some other of my favorite photos of babies and children...

Family photos!

With the joy of taking pictures, I did have a heart breaking job last year. I was asked to capture a families last moments during the funeral for a young mother of two little boys.

This photo is of 3 year old Taylor. When I shoot this photo he was talking to his aunt as she reminds him that his mommy is in heaven. While saying this she points to the sky. He looks at her and says, "Mommy's with the birds??" You can see in this photo that his little brain is trying to comprehend exactly what that means.

This is Cayden. He is nine and during his mommy's funeral he was a goof. I think he was trying to make people see that they didn't need to worry about him. He is a strong little man, that is for sure!

I have found something that I am passionate about and I hope that I continue to learn and grow in photography over this year as much as I did last year. Pictures have always been something that I treasure and now I hope I am creating little treasures for others!
